What Layna keeps in your browser.

Cookies are small files saved by a website. Layna also uses similar browser storage for practice progress and reliable loading. This notice covers both.

The types of browser storage Layna uses
TypeWhat it doesChoice
Account and securityKeeps you signed in, protects account requests and helps prevent misuse.Essential when you use an account.
Practice progressStores anonymous answers, scores and completed tools on your device until you clear them or sync them to an account.Needed to remember local progress; you can clear it.
Performance and offline filesCaches selected site files so pages load reliably and supported features can work with a weak connection.Essential to the feature using it and removable through browser controls.
Optional analyticsHelps understand which pages and tools are useful without changing your learning result.Set only after you agree where this option is offered.

Payments and external pages

When you open Stripe checkout or billing management, Stripe may use cookies needed for payment security, fraud prevention and checkout. A site you open from an external link may also set its own cookies under its own notice.

Your controls

You can clear anonymous practice from Account and settings. Your browser settings can delete or block cookies, local storage and cached site files. Blocking essential storage may stop sign-in, saved progress or checkout from working.

Rejecting optional analytics does not stop you using Layna’s core tools. Where optional storage is offered, Layna asks before setting it and provides a way to change that choice.
