Which parts of the UK does Layna cover?
Layna’s car-driving curriculum and test preparation cover England, Scotland and Wales—together, Great Britain. The lessons use British driving terms, left-hand traffic, UK road signs and the Highway Code for Great Britain. Manual and automatic learners can use the course.
England, Scotland and Wales
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) runs car driving tests in Great Britain. Our test format, marking and preparation guidance follows that system. Follow the actual signs and local limits where you drive; not every road has the same limit or layout.
Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland is part of the UK, but the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) administers its driving tests. Its test format and some learner rules differ. Layna is not a Northern Ireland test-preparation course: check the Northern Ireland guidance for your appointment, manoeuvres and local requirements. The relevant official publications are in our reference library.
